Thankfully the weather stayed dry on Saturday 16th July as over 500 women walked either 6 or 12 miles to raise money for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. With over £53,000 pledged it was a successful evening’s work! Pictured below are Lorraine (from Bluepepper Designs) and her friend Julie complete with pink flashing bunny ears.

Over the last 2 weeks Aylesbury has been treated to a wide variety of music ranging from folk and gospel, through to classical with the all new Aylesbury Festival. On Saturday 16th July 2011 the second Florence Nightingale Hospice Midnight Walk takes place. Lorraine will be taking part again this year walking the 6 mile course. The walk starts at midnight at Aylesbury College and finishes at Aqua Vale. Last year’s walk raised £60,000 so hopefully this year we will beat that target. Let’s [...]
