Aylesbury Festival
Over the last 2 weeks Aylesbury has been treated to a wide variety of music ranging from folk and gospel, through to classical with the all new Aylesbury Festival. Around 80 acts have been playing at various venues around Aylesbury and Sunday is the final day with a ‘Last Night at the Prom’s’ concert in St Mary’s Church. We’ve discovered this a bit late and have only managed to see ‘Festine’ a 37 piece orchestra who flew over especially from Slovenia for a two night concert. They were wonderful and playing in St Mary’s Church enhanced the sound even more. The festival is a really good idea and hopefully more people will get behind it next year.
